About MOM

Middleton Outreach Ministry

“Extending the compassion of Christ to our neighbors in need.”

Find your place at MOM! Become part of the community-wide effort of good neighbor caring by finding your place at MOM. Here are some of the ways you can give your heart to others by volunteering with our programs. Volunteers are also needed to do service projects, organize food and donation drives, and teaching others in the community about the realities of poverty.

  • Food Pantry and Clothing Closet: MOM’s Food Pantry and Clothing Closet volunteers serve clients so they can get the food and clothing their families need. Volunteers help their neighbors through the Food Pantry aisles and help by sorting clothing to put on our “store” racks.
  • Financial Literacy Mentors: This program connects clients with trained volunteers who will mentor them in budgeting, banking and other financial skills. Experience is needed in financial counseling.
  • Help the Elderly Remain Independent: Project for Older People (POP) is looking for more volunteers to help the elderly remain independent. You can offer a ride, a friendly visit, or do occasional household chores.
  • Administrative Volunteers: Take a shift serving clients and donors at our front desk (subs also greatly needed), help with data entry, or provide other administrative assistance to keep the office running smoothly.
