Worship

Worship is at the heart of our life together as God’s people at 6205 University Avenue. You’ll often hear the word “liturgy”, meaning our patterned way of worship. We worship regularly every Sunday at 8am (without music) and 10am (with music), and on Thursdays at 5:30pm we have Sandbox worship, an informal gathering for song, prayer, shared reflection, and supper.

Our Sunday worship follows a simple and ancient pattern, combining the Liturgy of the Word – receiving portions of Scripture appointed for the day, and the priest’s sermon, based upon those Scriptures – and the Liturgy of the Table, or Holy Eucharist.

Coming to worship may be the best way to get a sense of who we are and how you fit in. Please feel free to ask our greeters or people sitting nearby if you have questions about our way of worship or who we are as a church.

There are many ways and opportunities to get involved with helping to lead our liturgies, if you would like to serve. Read more here!
